Hello everyone
I have a GMC Jimmy 1984 with LQ9 swap and 4L60E along with NP241C transfer case.

I am experiencing a persistent leakage issue with my NP241C transfer case, even after replacing the sealing kit.

I’m asking for recommendation on a tested sealing kit for the NP241C transfer case. I’ve recently replaced the sealing kit, but I’m still facing leakage issues. If you have experience with specific high-quality kits that have proven effective, I would greatly appreciate your insights. Thank you!

I had one leaking from the casting seam. Replaced case gaskets and use silicone multiple times. Found the leak by filling the case to the bottom of the fill plug. hooked an air line to the vent and put 5PSI of pressure in it. Showed the seam leaking instantly. Had to dissemble the unit, clean it thoroughly, drill the ends of the crack and v-groove it, then weld it.

Thanks for the reply.
I’m uploading a photo. Also from the other end as well but i don’t have a photo right now. Excuse my english i do not know the part name Lol.

If there is a part number that will be helpful.
Don't worry, your English is a little funny but perfectly good for this, we don't expect someone from Saudi Arabia to speak like us.
We get lots of foreign members here and we can find ways to communicate.
I can even help in Arabic if it comes to it.
The question is whether the leak is at the seal coming out where the driveshaft goes in or at the gasket between the case pieces?

If the front output (pinion) seal is leaking and the rear output (tailshaft), that could indicate that the vent on top of the T-case is blocked. I think that's what @K5Jimmy is saying, even though he says transmission.

If you expand the quote in post #3, he put a photo in there, showing oil coming out around the slip yoke.

Thanks man. I really like this community, very helpful and fun.
The leak is from both, i just cleaned up the case and i will use it for two days then i will check so i can decide.
Also, i’m planning to drop and open the T-case next week and replace the following parts
-Transfer Case Output Shaft Bushing
-Transfer Case Output Shaft Seal
-Transfer Case Input Shaft Seal
- and the gasket

At that time i will check the vent as well.
Wish me luck !
