I don’t have the doubler, but i went with the ORD twin stick. Unexpectedly amazing to have 2 wheel drive low range. It was as great having that as it was gaining the overdrive gear. The kit was typical of ORD, well built and high quality.

Yes that works in most cases, but not having to get in/out of the truck to lock/unlock hubs all the time is super nice. Guys with locked front ends would probably enjoy it even more. (mine is an open diff front still)I use 2WD low range just by turning the lockouts.
With a Nv4500?I am using a luk brand on my blazer and it has been great. I did use a nice throw out like a McLeod or something.
Did you use the one ton flywheel too?Yes I wheel a big block and a doubler with it. Stock replacement luk.
SummitRacing offers like 6 different ones not sure which to get .?I have a luk one with mine as well. Works like a charm.
I went with the LUK Heavy Duty version, zero issues so far.
One thing about the LUK kit is they include a throw out bearing that is plastic on the back side. I don’t like it, so I didn’t use that one. I bought an all steel National Brand bearing instead.

I bought mine from Rock Auto.SummitRacing offers like 6 different ones not sure which to get .?

You mean squarebody’s didn’t come from the factory with NV4500’s? I’ve see the everyday with NV’sJust came across this conversion seems awesome! Is anyone running this in their k5 ? What I’d like to do is run this either with a geared down 205 or run the doubler with the 205/203 ? Opinions? Building a crawler .
