didn,t have time too work on the truck ,but got a few more parts. found a perfect barn find hood no rust . ours was replaced in 1998 when it was painted with a jobber part never fitted right, and bent because of the stiff hinges a cheap meterial. oh and a 4.10 dana 60 !!!

Good finds there. Looks like it needs cleaning and a few parts. But that sucker will last forever on a stock ish rebuild.

runs good transmission is alot less noisy with floor mat installed. dana 60 steers with 1 finger ,brakes are alot better with the bigger calipers and pads. the hood a world of difference,old one used to dance at high speeds. needs a set of pads ,and to figure a way too enlarge hub cap hole for the front wheel hub any ideals! went to show it to my dad,so i try too take a good picture ! and try again going home. it was too cloudy or i,m just lousy a taking pictures.

I have a set of hub caps from a 3/4 ton with smaller hole and I was always going to give them to a friend to waterjet out the hole to the bigger size.

If you can find a set of factory K30 hub caps, they not only have a bigger hole, they also have a flare to go to the end of the hubs. Should be able to find a set.
