Well you pretty much covered every persons wish list, How about a 203/205 doubler kit for extreme crawl ratio?

a 4spd, a doubler, 52's in front, 56's 57's or 63's in rear, a winch, ???
What kind of wheelin' do you do?

I think your going to need more then 4" of lift. Maybe a 6" and a good amount of /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif

Later

I think I have told that to Rene.
too much hacking

im thinking about making a drop hangar for the front so get some more lift and i dont mind cutting. i live in houston so its alot of mud, trails not really rocks mostly muddy trails, hill climbs and stuff. i want a doubler but the only one ive found is expensive from ord. and i have a 12k hydraulic mile marken winch

how about a msd7al3,8 or 10 ignition, plus reverse pattern b&m shifterwith a transbrake if you don't already have them. got any pic's sounds nice /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

teh ck5 "UAV" has about the same lift as i do about a 5 inch in teh front and about 6 in hte back and it fits 39's and flexes like crazy. i wish i could afford some alcan springs u can custom build them to have the lift and flex u want. and those guys r great and responding to ur e-mails they e-mailed me back in a day. i love those guys they helped alot

Wagoner Machine and Stazworks also make doubler kits

Poohbair hit it on the head. Wish I'd have done this route in the first place and not bought lift springs and steering
correct stuff, only to change it... /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif
52's in front (do cross over and hydro assist too)
56's in rear with shackle flip

thats probably what im gonna do i have some big shackles for the back that measure the longest 7 1/2 inches eye to eye, my suspension will be almost the same as teh ck5 UAV

what trucks came with 63 inch springs? i think that might give me the perfect shackle angle.

88-98 Chevy

hmm interesting ill have to find me osme bc i think thats the perfect shackle angle for me. not sure yet ill find out theres alot of junkyards in houston. is the 1.2 ton chevy's 88-98?

its been a while but heres a big update on the trail rig. picked up a 85' shortbed chevy and so far all ive really been doing is fixing rust and did a cab swap. but i got the suspension done. 52'' up front and sky flip with 56'' springs. im considering trying to inboard them with some johnny joints. run the drivetrain i got with it 350carb/350/203 with a d60 and 14 bolt both already have detroits go with 5.13 or 5.38 gearings. 39.5X15X15 tsl on a mrt 15X10 beadlock. flatbed with rear mount radiator and a k5 tank until i can get a fuel cell. stock steering until i can go hydro assist and crossover. i plan on tubing the cab out and cutting all the sheetmetal off later on down the road when money is more abundant. also down the road plan on narrowed front with an exo.
any other suggestions ill try to add some pics soon
