Ok. I have 1 extra mount that is still all riveted togethet and I held it up to the frame opposite side of whichit would have originally been mounted and it still looks the same as when I bolted them up before I started cutting things up.
When I had all of the parts disassembled everything was stamped exactly the same... like there was absolutely zero difference between any of the parts that came off of the driver side vs. the passenger side. It's kinda cool because they're universal but that's about it.
I think the only reason to leave the rivets in would be for the convenience of not knocking them out and replacing them with bolts, I don't see any way that the brackets would fit better by swapping them sides since everything is the same.

Gonna clean all the stuff up and spray it flat black, saw some rustoleum with primer already in it so I'll pick up a few cans of that.
Thinking about some B52's soon not really feelin' the homebrew things I conjured up.

Passenger side spring pack bolted up.
Drug the 60 across the floor, removed the old studs and bolted it up to the springs.
Tie rod is bent, axle tubes are fine.
Shackle angle should be good once I set the engine in there... that might happen tomorrow.

Sometime down the road I may take that overload out and replace it with an actual leaf from another spring pack.
I've read about people keeping them in due to them basically being a bump stop for the spring pack.

Keeps the spring from trying to reverse. I just extended my bump stops with a 1.5" square block
