I think I'm in love. :eek1:

1991 V30 crew cab DRW. 101k original miles. 454/4L80E/205, 60 front, 70 rear. Zero dents, zero rust, perfect paint. He says 9" lift. 38" boggers. Baddest V/K30 I've ever seen.:saweet:

I'm about $2k off from the asking price, I made an offer $400 less than his "obo" asking price...I've been burning up the internet contacting familly for help to snag this up before someone else can. Cross your fingers and wish me luck!!

The ****ty thing is that in 3 weeks I'll have almost $5k hitting the bank account, then another $2k a week after that. At the price and condition this truck is in, it'll be a miracle if it hasn't sold by then. :eek1: And just talked to mom and the grandparents, they'd be more than willin to help, but both are tapped out because of medical bills. Ahhhhhh!

Bad ass. Good luck. You could always sell those god-awful bumpers for some $$ when you get it!

What about a loan from the bank. Get it and then you can pay it off as soon as you have the cash. I wouldn't let this bad boy go

Tried that already. Recent divorce and a couple old things on my credit report killed that idea. Bleh.

I can get this truck for $6k. :eek1:

Joe, why not ask the guy if he would hold it for you and offer to give him a little more cash for it and a deposit with a date that you will have the remainder of the cash for him.

That thing is a thing of beauty right there. Nice find. If you pass on it, let someone else know.

X2 explain your current circumstances and location, and he may go for it :wink1: Thats a great deal. I paid 6K for my 89 with 85k on the truck. 10k on the motor and trans with Horrible paint.

X3 I was always happy to give people leeway in a purchase if it was going to a good home. I stored an FJ40 for a guy for 3 months until he could come down in spring to pick it up from Alaska.

I did offer that exact thing. His reply was, "get me the 6k and i'll hold it for ya". I get the idea that he's a young rich kid. He also said he's had a lot of offers, but they all mostly been low balls. So that gives me a bit of hope.

I've gotta jam to pt right now, but when I get back, I'm gonna tell him I'll pay his asking price if he'll hold it.

How much are you short? If you get some guys to pm me vouching for you I could float you a short loan.

Geez dude, that's not necessary. You've never once even met me. :eek1:

I'm about $2300 short anyways. A pretty big chunk.
