I installed an ORD 3" lift kit on my m1009.
Identical to a 1986 K5 Blazer.
Front Tuff Country HD springs for 3" lift.
Rear Shackle flip for 4" lift.
Here is some testing video i made.
In the notes i have some info regarding driveshaft and pinion angles after shackle flip.
I looked a lot of places to find info on pinion angle and correction after a shackle flip.
Used Tom Woods advice from his site.
Anyhow, i thought i'd put a link to the youtube videos because it might be helpful to someone.
This lift and the shim solution i described in video #1 has produced almost zero vibration at highway speed without using a CV rear driveshaft.
Video #2 has details about what it cost and some of the decisions i made.
Video #3 is just eye candy.
I linked the video with the best description.
Click on the white letters above the embedded videos here to be taken over to them on youtube.
Check video descriptions for what i did to the pinion angles.
