Ord sbc xmember clearing a 5.3

What type of mistakes and which race guys?

Just curious.

That's not something that needs to be shared publicly or really shared at all. Racing application and tuning style differences and team panic........ All leads to need it now, if you catch my drift.

It's all good I'm going to take a day off work and call multiple places and talk to people. I thought all web sites automatically had a mobile version?

I wish, I just used GoDaddy creator thing. I'm building a new much better one but paying stuff comes first.

If you have any questions on anything let me know. Even just advice, not a problem.

We've seen pretty good luck with our BBC crossmember clearing the truck pan but it's not by a lot so it can depend on specifics on the frame and motor mount combo. Sometimes a simple spacer here or there can be your friend. Seems like just about any of the aftermarket pans with rounded corners will fit easier. We have a pacfab/tilden pan sitting on the SBC crossmember with good clearance in our convertible K30.

Right on!, I'll ask them about there pan when I call. I really want to make my sbc xmember work since I boxed the frame and can't remember if I welded the bolts on the underside of the frame..

You could drill a small hole in the frame and look in there. Easy enough to weld up or screw a self tapper in it and call it good. Or maybe there's already a hole close enough. Especially if you know someone with a bore scope. But the nicer pans are nicer too...
