Ord vs tuff country

Ok not tryin to hijack or anything, but I'm going to run a set of the ord front 4" springs on my K5 just the stock 47" nothing crazy.

But I was wondering if I could run the factory push pull steering for a couple months on the street befor going crossover without killing myself lol
Again I will only be on payment

Yes you can run it just fine.

I've been running push pull with ORD. I was too cheap to dive in all at once, but now that I see the situation I'm putting together my shopping list for steering. With long shocks, the steering looks like it could be the droop limiter on the driver's side.

If you are on pavement, I don't think you need it at all. I actually thought bump steer could be worse with crossover.

Ok thanks guys, do you think it'd be better to run no sway bar or should I leave it on until I do crossover, or does it even matter

I can drive with no away bar in the rain while shifting and tapatalking :dunno:

my burb with the 3" alcans was scary without the sway bar to me. couple of days of that was enough

I havent seen anyone mention shackle angle throughout any of this. I have a 2" lift 52" tuff countrys up front and 3" lift 63" tuff countrys out back. Im running bilstein 5150's. It rides great and flex's awesome..but i took the time to properly setup my shackles for my application.

As for the swaybar, with a normal lift i wouldnt run one, but with a setup as soft as mine, its almost nessecary.

True, but this is another advantage of having custom springs made. ORD will determine the length of the spring required to get the proper shackle angle. So no moving spring mounts or experimenting with shackle lengths is required. Just bolt them in and go.
