paint what do i want

nobody eh?

I guess I'll jump in and say something then. I didn't really look around to much on the site you posted, but I don't think I'd buy my paint online. Especialy if I wanted a certain color or shade. Their prices didn't seem too bad though, didn't check shiping costs (I'm sure it's ground only and still pretty $$$).

I'd try to find a local paint supply place. That way you can pick the color and shade in person. And you know the paint is fresh. I found one (Westside Paint Supply), and use them exclusivly for my paint/auto body needs. The link you posted looks to be a kit, most paint shops will set you up with the needed reducers, hardeners, etc... Plus a local shop will be there if you have any questions. Another plus is, if you want to do any touch up work (or replace some body parts), a local shop can mix the color exactly the same as the first time.

I bought the red oxide epoxy primer and the hot rod red flatz for my suburban. Ive heard good things about the paint and I wanted a flat color that would actually protect the surface underneath. Ive had good luck shooting urethanes. Im not a car painting pro at all. Ive totally sanded and done body repairs on 6 cars. Ive also painted them all. So hopefully this will be the best one with a new paint line. I usually use Omni the lower brand of PPG. Not much help just what ive done.

never heard of them sorry..

the only thing that i can say that the "economy" paint is not always economical...meaning..

the cheaper stuff is not to going to cover to well
u will need more paint then the quality stuff
by looking at the mixing ratio 3:1 you will need a lot of paint to do the job

but ur on the right track whit a base coat /clear coat there the easiest to applied and if u put a lot of clear(3coat or more)u can wet sand and buff to get flawless finish

hope it helped a bit
