Well got the tank in but somehow the fuel filler hose is now an inch to short. But other than that and a ground, it’s done.
InjectorRx called. Injectors were clogged pretty good and it took a second soak and some harsher than usual chemicals to clean them out but they are where they need to be and good to go. Little luck, I'll try to crank it Sunday.
Got the injectors back.
Throttle body back on. Just need one vac line, fuel filler hose, 4 clamps tightened, fuel pressure gauge installed, hook up a battery, add some gas, and twist the key.

If this ol 350 has the guts to do a burn out, I may give it a proper bath.
I had an 88 1/2 ton short box, GMT 400 with the TBI 350 and the 5 speed. It'd burn them off through third gear no problem.

My brother had an 89 with the 350 and 700R4.... that thing would absolutely boil the tires. I miss that truck.
Burnouts for distance?
Wrong brake is sticking to make that happen.
Engine is smooth as butter. Gave it a bit of throttle and it pinged a couple of times and then smoothed out. I’ve got new plugs to swap in.
AC compressor isn’t kicking on but it may just be low on charge. All fan speeds and modes work.
50ish psi of oil pressure. Bout 14 volts charging. Dunno if the temp gauge is working. It never came up but I didn’t run it that long. Gas gauge is showing empty but I only put 5gal in it. Fuel pressure is showing 10psi on the gauge.
Blinkers don’t work. No tail lights or brake lights. Low and high beams work. Looked like the dash lit up with that old school green back light. Radio turns on but no buttons work.
Right rear drum is sticking. Can’t see any fluid so I’m guessing rust. Transmission shifted nicely through the gears.

Did a little messing with it yesterday. Pulled a taillight out and confirmed no voltage going back to them. Looked at the fuses and they look good so more investigation needed there. Learned the hazard switch lights up the front blinkers but the turn signal switch itself does not. I think that needs to be replaced because it will only click and hold on the right and not the left and in general is loose. Also learned the tailgate handle doesn’t work so gotta look into that as well.
