Papa’s Truck

1990 Chevy C1500
Sounds like it’s running really nice and smooth! What was the bussing noise while you were moving it?

Having had one of these when brand new...double check the brake switch adjustment. mine liked to not quite turn off the brake lights and then the heat from the bulb would start to melt all the good stuff inside the tail lights.

I’ll take a look. So far so good.

Next plan is to replace the rubber brake lines if for nothing than preventative maintenance. Passenger drum is dragging so I’ll probably go through both of those with shoes and cylinders and whatever else. New pads and pin grease up front.

Gotta order the door pins and replacement rollers and get those done.

And troubleshoot the air conditioner.

I’m struggling over tires. Hot rodder in me wants something cool but the practical side says just get basic tires.

I’m tired of spending money on repairs. Think the first “splurge” is gonna be window tint and a functional radio.
