Parting out 1987 1Ton on 42's - So Cal

Do both of them work? I've got some blue ones but they're broke, maybe I could transfer the parts.

If working = $20 + freight?

Yeah, that sounds good. Iirc, on mine the push/pull thing is broke, let me look at mine and make sure of what I need.

And if the cab doesnt sell I'll cut sections out of the rust free floor for anyone that need replacement parts.

Wife wants this out of the garage so act fast before it goes off to the scrap yard.

Too bad man, had a lot of good times working on that truck and mine

I didn't think you came on here anymore. :thumb:
We did have lots of late drunken nights in the garage. Remember wehn we were welding up your rea bumper...Sammy Adams snuck up on us that night:haha::haha:

I have been doing the physical therapy and medical visit thing for over 3 years now and my back is still bad. That and every time I tried working on the truck, it put me OOC for at least a week finally pushed me over the edge with this truck. Everything on it is heavy and huge so it had to go.

BTW do you still have the e-mail I sent you when this happened????

Hey, just checking in. Whenever you have time to sort out shipping on the rear springs let me know and I'll shoot you some money.

I actually stopped into the USPS/FEDEX/UPS mega mail/shipping store and asked about it.
The quote I got was over $130:eek1::eek1:

So I am going to bring them to my buddies shop and see what he can do for shipping. Please PM me your address and the most you would pay for them.

Not trying to shake you down or anything like that, :haha: it's just that if he can do good on shipping I'll have them shipped out right away. But if the shipping cost goes over what you think is a fair price I won't have them shipped out.

We can figure out the payment later. I've met you before and we have both been on CK5 for a while.

I appreciate the trust my friend. :thumb: A PM is on it's way.

Hey, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to pass on the kick panel vents.

I got to looking at my K5 today and the roll cage is right next to the panels so I can't remove / swap them without cutting the cage legs. :doah:

modernbeat, I found a problem with one of steel sleeves for the poly bushing kit. One of the sleeves is damaged, explains why it was the only hard one to remove. I attached some pics of it so you can see for yourself.

I am sure a replacement is available somewhere, but I don't know where.. .Let me know what you want to do

Well I got the transfer case out so im making progress here.

The bad thing is that I tweaked something in my MF-ing back again. Now my f**king right leg is numb. I'm so tired of this crap. Can't even live a normal life anymore. :banghead:

Looks like no one is interested in the cab or frame.

If anyone needs/wants any rust free sections of the cab let me know. The floors are rust free and I'll cut them out and ship them off to you.

For the frame, if anyone needs the front left frame rail to repair where the steering box is let me know.
