It worked fine while the engine was idling for 30 minutes so I figured it was all good to go.

I guess the stuff does not expand and contract at the same rate as the cast manifolds. Wasted $24.....just what I needed.

If you're just trying to hold off buying headers so you can move it around a bit, can you try a pipe clamp with some headerwrap under it to keep the leaking to a minimum?
