Phil's '88 Big Blue Build Thread

I have taken a ramcharger through Pritchett. He was on 38s on 20" rims yo.

Not one dent or scratch on his wheels. Took some careful spotting but even Pritchett is doable without body damage

Just so you know, I'm taking a K10 out this year, not wanting to ding it up either.
Have a build thread goin

:D

I probably came across a bit more paranoid than I really am. After all this talk I'll probably flop it. lol.

Sawzall the fenders, add one tons and lockers. You know, street truck

Bumper and winch washer look really good!

Thanks, I think it came out pretty good. I'm starting to think I need some other non blue and white accents though. lol. I haven't wired the winch up yet, my battery has those stupid screw in side connectors, I need to figure out how to redo that so I can add the cables.

Thank you! Wow. It really has come a long way. During that time I also got the A/C working. lol.

They make studs that screw into those battery terminals. Your local auto parts store should have them.

I like the blue and white, dont screw it up!

I use those shorter ones on a couple of my rigs. I like them a bunch, and help to avoid stripping out the soft lead threads in the side posts. :doah:

I like them better than what I had recommended, I just thought @Phil513 was wanting to use posts. Either way, options are out there! You don't hafta carry around a dead pressure washer anymore!

Hey guys, no, I'm not sold on posts. Just trying to figure out this situation, which a couple of those look like they will fix.

I have on those side post batteries used a short piece of unplated all thread to make a post like above. Usually with a nut and lock washer to secure the post, adding the ends against them.
Have not yet had an issue
