They don't come on 10 bolts.

Wagoneers use the same spindle pattern, have flat tops on them. Might research the yearsWell, I have a call out for a complete 10 bolt so I can do all this stuff off the truck. He hasn't gotten back with me, but I have seen lots of 6 lug 10 bolts, not really worried about finding one.

It has to be a flat top to start, they just clean it upBut, can't I take the knuckle off the 10 bolt, and send it to ORD or DIY4X and have it machined, like they advertise?
Actually, it would probably be cheaper for me to buy yours, now that I'm thinking about it. lol.

The area where the left most stud is doesn't exist on a non flatty
So I have done several crossovers on half ton stuff. I really think the Reid knuckle along with the arm that has the extra hole is worth it. I have seen several broken studs on just a conventional flat top knuckle.
Of course the flip side is i know guys who have run years with zero problems.
If planning on hydro assist ( yes I know it's on the tie rod) I would try to get a Reid knuckle
Ah. Sorry for the stupid question(s), seems like all mine are way behind the curve, they never made a crossover steering version, so why the flat top?
Basically this is my thought.
Crossover steering is one of the best mods you can do.
If you can it's best to get the fancy knuckle, if you can't afford it or just don't wanna spend the money, then do a machined knuckle.
I intend to keep my 10 bolt. I will get the Reid knuckle cause it's going to my daughter in 6 years or so. I have had issues with the studs breaking before, since it's gonna be my little girls truck eventually I wanna spend money on upgrades that increase safety and longevity. I think the Reid knuckle does so
I just really appreciate everyone's patience with me, and that I'm not getting bodyslammed for all the stuff I don't know.
Thank you all for your help and advice.
I for one am happy to help. I still learn a lot discussing things, even if I already did something similar
Glad you are so eager to find the information
