Photos of game you've harvested

haha i like the case of beer in the back

Just got back from a Deer Hunting trip with my Brother in Law. He got a nice Fork.
He has a back injury so he cant really get out and walk. We were limited to road hunting. He made a nice 200 yd shot using the hood of my K5 for a rest.:D

These were the conditions we hunted in for a couple of days. We were about 30 miles in the back country when I took that pic. It was fun 4x4ing in all that slop.

Is that a fork or a 3X2? Nice buck either way.
I killed a 3X2 in those same conditions a couple of years ago, go back about 3 pages. I love it when its showing, nice and quiet. The best part is I drive home and dont have to deal with the snow like the East Coast guys.:D

young 8 point i killed last weekend. 13.5" outside spread and only weighed 117 lbs, i think the marsh grass they eat actually sucks nutrients out of their bodies

Double whammy in D13. My cousin and I got these 2 on the Friday after they reopened from the fire closures.

I got the small 3x3 and my cousin got the big 2x2. The 3x3 had been rutting really hard and had lost a lot of weight. I saw this one while scouting and had a chance on the second weekend but missed.

Well it's not really "game" but I harvested some from this great find. There is a lot of it everywhere. I have the key to the treasure.:D In three weeks happened to find 3 plots. One huge one and 2 smaller ones but they all are stocked very well. These places have thousands of dollars into them. The irrigation system is high tech.

These pictures are from the first one which had already been topped towards the beginning of the plot. I took these pictures in a hurry and left the area. When I left the area I hit jackpot. I walked right into the middle of it and it was beautiful. I did not take pictures of the other plots but they are nice also.

It looked like they had cut them the night of the opener because it rained the night before and the tracks were all fresh that day. The rain would have washed the tracks away because it poured hard.

Where we hunt there are size restrictions. A moose must be either have 1.) A spike or no more than a fork on either side. 2.) Must have at least 4 brow tines or 3.) Be over 50" wide. The moose in the picture is a high 50s and would rate about a 7 on a 1-10 scale.

A really huge moose will be close to or over 80" wide like this one, in the picture below.

Gus
good lord, you could damn near hang a hammoc from that thing.:eek1:

It's whats left over from a pot farm in the local mtns. This one and 2 more had a lot of it growing much lower from where the pictures were taken.

These are my best harvests.

These are my best gun and bow deer.
The snow shot is opening day of gun season three years ago. It has an 18" spread and dressed out at 198lbs. It was aged at 3 1/2 years.
The bow deer I got last year at about 8 yards, he ran to the back of my shooting range less than 50 yards away.best with shotgun.jpg

Yeah, I suck at most anything computer related. It's quite a project for me to even get those pics from photo to scanner and beyond, let alone get them to show up here. The main purpose for me is truck parts and info, and researching the wide array of new and interesting porn.
