Just got back from a Deer Hunting trip with my Brother in Law. He got a nice Fork.
He has a back injury so he cant really get out and walk. We were limited to road hunting. He made a nice 200 yd shot using the hood of my K5 for a rest.
These were the conditions we hunted in for a couple of days. We were about 30 miles in the back country when I took that pic. It was fun 4x4ing in all that slop.

In three weeks happened to find 3 plots. One huge one and 2 smaller ones but they all are stocked very well. These places have thousands of dollars into them. The irrigation system is high tech.good lord, you could damn near hang a hammoc from that thing.Where we hunt there are size restrictions. A moose must be either have 1.) A spike or no more than a fork on either side. 2.) Must have at least 4 brow tines or 3.) Be over 50" wide. The moose in the picture is a high 50s and would rate about a 7 on a 1-10 scale.
A really huge moose will be close to or over 80" wide like this one, in the picture below.
