Here is what my dad and I got in 2002. My dads on the left is a 3x3 and mine on the right is a 4x4 :D

Here are my two wall hangers. The seven point on the left has a 23 1/2" inside spread. The eight point on the right has 7 1/2" long browtines. They're not the only ones that I've taken, just the only ones worth mounting. They're whitetails taken in North Mississippi.

here's my blacktail from oregon 8x8 in secound season deer hunt.

also my wife is a taxidermist and she is the one that mounted it for me. so if anyone is looking for a good taxidermist for some of your trophies let me know and we can get you going. thanks

Nice blacktail !
WOW! Looks like your wife did an excellent job on the mount.
Lucky Guy having a wife that is a taxidermist :thumb: Does she rebuild engines too?

WOW! That's an awesome buck! The season is quickly approaching for me! Here's the last thing I shot, a mouse at four feet with a .357 mag hollowpoint.

You really should have used a fully jacketed bullet for that beast. You ruined a lot of good meat using a HP. Oh well at least the hind quarters are still good. Maby you can just jerk the rest.

BTW Hellbent..... That is a beautiful trout! Must have been fun to catch.

man mofugly you harvist a lot of game, how do you use the meat up? freeze most in cuts, or jerky and sasage? do you bucher it yourself or take it someware to get dut and wraped for you?

you must never buy meat lol

cant wat till i get in to hunting, just too many hobeys right now need to wean them down

I have a butcher take care of it for me, I used to get chops, steaks, roasts, jerky meat and burger. Now I have them gimme the loins and backstraps whole, and I have the rest ground up into burger. About 1/3 of what they make into burger, I have them make hot Italian Sausage. I try to make some smoked sausage out of the burger, but haven't gotten around to that for a few years. The GF is raggin on me for some, so I'll have to whip up some pepperoni for her. ( I DID promise almost 4 years ago...)

Got my second buck! A NICE 3 pointer. The season is two weeks old, and it's over for me. No better way to end a season, though, no matter how short.

try hunting a moose....lol you NEED your blazer to PULL the thing out of the forest :)

You guys may laugh at me but I paintball animals now. I don't like killin anything (not a sissy or against hunting, its just not my thing) so i've gone out and 'tagged' a few deer, raccoons etc.

its ALOT harder than hunting and for me at least provides the same excitement

well done tho guys those are some nice trophies

Great buck.... Whats next on your list? More rodents?.... :waytogo:
a 357 is a bit overkill but doubt it could tell the difference. Rock on!

My 2005 Bull. A little 5x5. Took me a couple of years to get this place figured out and I had a couple of close calls in years past. This year it finally came together. I was able to spot this bull across a canyon about a mile away and work my way up to his general vicinity as he worked his way to the bedding area. My luck held as I was able to intercept him and another bull as they worked their way through the timber and I stalked to within 30 yards of the smaller bull and placed the arrow where I wanted on a 30 yard quartering away shot. The blood trail took me 60 yards and to my bull. 6 hours later and after 5 pack trips on my back, I had I had him in my truck. The self gratification of doing it all on my own, scouting, research, and packing it out on my back is hard to explain but suffice to say, I’m ecstatic!

Nice Bull. I know what you mean about doing it all yourself, great sense of accomplishment. Congrats!

I'm posting this one of my brother. We went hunting in the Hood River unit in Oregon, we roughed it for the whole 12 days of the season. I was skunked, but he shot this awesome 3-pointer. It was the first time we got to hunt together in 5 years, so we had a lot of fun. This is his third buck, and definitely his biggest. Hopefully I can get back up there next year and we can hunt together again.

This was from my uncle's 4 man blind. We only got to hunt until 9a.m., had we been able to stay later i'm sure we'd have had another limit.
9 mallards (5 hens, 4 drakes)
5 teal (green wings)
3 morgansa (1 hoody, 2 hens) <---could have shot many limits of these

Not a shabby morning.
