Photos of game you've harvested

That's not even a big one, the bear in the picture is the one that my wife shot last fall, it squared under 7'.

For today's pic.

We went out on a shake down run with my wife's new buggy, just kind of a weekend camping trip and a chance to see how the buggy would work before moose season. Well, I had a rifle............a caribou tag................ the season was open.............. and this little fella stood up right close to the trail.

We used to skin and gut all of our animals right where they fell but now we pick them up and take them to flat dry ground and skin and gut them out in the open in a place of our choosing. While not too difficult with a deer with an animal that can weigh a little over 3/4 of a ton the logistics get a little more complicated here's how we do it.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of a... (BLAM!!!!)

Kinda funny that you should bring that up, a friend was showing pictures to his daughter and after each animal she would ask whose it was. After showing her a picture of a moose and her asking whose it was, he answered Rocky's (Rocky is my nephew) she cracked up. He didn't catch the connection and had to ask her why she was laughing, "Rocky shot Bullwinkle" and she continued to laugh.

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the granddaddy of them all and 1 being minimum size, how would this moose measure up?

My untrained eye thinks it's a monster!

Where we hunt there are size restrictions. A moose must be either have 1.) A spike or no more than a fork on either side. 2.) Must have at least 4 brow tines or 3.) Be over 50" wide. The moose in the picture is a high 50s and would rate about a 7 on a 1-10 scale.

A really huge moose will be close to or over 80" wide like this one, in the picture below.
