What is the green bird?
At first I thought a parakeet but wrong tail.
Never seen that color bird other than that.

It is indeed a parakeet! We murdered a bunch of those things on this trip.

My kid tagged out at 7:10 am opening morning. Doesn't hurt we live like 15 min from where he got him and him, his grandma and grandpa have been scouting him for the last week or so.

Stinky speedgoat!

Got his euro mount done. Need to build a stand for it when we figure out where to put it.

Got my kids first deer back 1 yr later from the taxidermist. It will be going in the house when I have time. For now I stuck it on the wall in the garage.

Thanks, bigger than anything I've ever got. My oldest got a bigger one for his first one. Now I have a third one hunting this year so I gotta find him one but they're not looking great this year.

My mini moose from Newfoundland. It sure does taste good.

This is a really great 36 hr deep drop trip out of Fourchon, La for those that like bottom fishing. Downthebayou charters. Mid aft are barrelfish, 5 species of grouper port bow, queen snapper starboard bow, amberjack on the floor, tile and longtail seabass on the cooler

Made it happen fri night. Couple mile packout after dark once it was gutted and quartered.

My kid and a coupla his buddies got in on a youth pheasant hunt...

Got my second oldest's deer up on the wall. It's the one on the left. My oldest's deer from a few years ago is on the right. I failed at getting my 3rd one down a good one for his first this year.

They were pretty easy. I watched Whitebone Creations on YouTube and do them myself. I do use a different chemical than they do to bleach them though on my buddy's recommendation.

My 14 yr old tagged out on opening day of the cow hunt Saturday. Right before dark my 11 yr old spotted it on a ridge straight above the road as we were heading back to camp. 300 yd straight up shot. It was facing us straight on and all you could see was from the chest up. Dropped it right there. Rolled it down the hill complete and gutted it at the road and loaded it whole into the bed of my side by side. The head is folded completely under it in the first Pic. As soon as we went to adjust it it headed down the hill with gravity.
