My kid tagged out at 7:10 am opening morning. Doesn't hurt we live like 15 min from where he got him and him, his grandma and grandpa have been scouting him for the last week or so.

Got his euro mount done. Need to build a stand for it when we figure out where to put it.
Got my kids first deer back 1 yr later from the taxidermist. It will be going in the house when I have time. For now I stuck it on the wall in the garage.

Thanks, bigger than anything I've ever got. My oldest got a bigger one for his first one. Now I have a third one hunting this year so I gotta find him one but they're not looking great this year.
This is a really great 36 hr deep drop trip out of Fourchon, La for those that like bottom fishing. Downthebayou charters. Mid aft are barrelfish, 5 species of grouper port bow, queen snapper starboard bow, amberjack on the floor, tile and longtail seabass on the cooler
Made it happen fri night. Couple mile packout after dark once it was gutted and quartered.
My kid and a coupla his buddies got in on a youth pheasant hunt...

Got my second oldest's deer up on the wall. It's the one on the left. My oldest's deer from a few years ago is on the right. I failed at getting my 3rd one down a good one for his first this year.
