Picking out a fuel injection system

Edelbrock is throwing in the sump pump with a PF 4 but I don't need that, any way to get a cash rebate instead of the pump that I won't use?

Would not any of the fuel injection systems for myself because I'm familiar with HPtuners. Difficult to beat a GM ECM and HPtuners.

I put a FItech on a Cadillac 500. The idle is a bit irritating because I really don't think the 500ci engine is what it was designed for, let alone with a ridiculous camshaft. However, it is very tunable. No complaints. Not a problem annihilating the front tires on a 1978 GMC motorhome. Seems to get OKish fuel economy for turning ~2600rpm at 75mph.

I put a Davis Unified Ignition HEI distributor on it instead of using a MSD distributor and using the FItech to control the timing. I would never do business with the DUI clowns again. Way worse than they were 15 years ago. Way too much advance and then way too fast on the ramp-up, and then wanted me to pay $40 for them to fix it plus shipping both ways. I also bought plug wires from them and it says like 700 times that you have to use the included silicone grease or it voids the warranty... with no silicone grease included. I don't know what their business model looks like for the future, but I hope it's Chapter 11.

That is an end customer only deal with "no cash value", so you're best option would be to apply for it and when you get the sump kit just eBay it brand new still in the box.

i still have my brand new black air cleaner and filter combo i got for free .

they were hot sellers when i got mine and then dropped off sales and now its just sitting on ebay waiting for someone to buy it . even listed here and a few other forums .

i think its cool to offer it as lots will use it but some of us give us a credit on other parts we will need .

I hear you, I wish there was something I could do to help you out, but Edelbrock lists this as an "end customer only" deal. I imagine you will only be able to sell it for about half of full retail value.

To be honest this sump deal is really an easy shortcut to a proper fuel system, it uses a low pressure mechanical pump to feed a high pressure electric pump. You can do a better fuel system for cheaper, it just takes a little more work.

I already have the in tank TBI pump and a new Delphi laying here to replace that. The TBI pump has too much pressure to feed the sump if I understand correctly
