:pics: extreme narrowing :the whole body

this weekend I narrowed the entire truck, I was already boat sideing and a narrowed front, but I took it further and now have a fire wall just over 4.5 feet wide, and a new windshield that is 48'' by 24''

also added some door bars to better protect my self, slanted the radiator back added a new dash with guages from a 55-57 chevy,moved the seats, I took about 9 inches or a little more off each side

And I filled up a truck with everything I chopped off

ill post some pics up soon, im think the body is the same width as a jeep cherokee now

anyone else narrowed the whole thing?

can I still call it a blazer lol?

well since all the metal that was on the truck from previous ideas and changes in the last two years ranged from 13/1 6 to 1/4 inch...yes it was a nightmare, about 60 plus cutting disk between all the new metal and removing old,

amazingly I have decided I like my grinder better then the old sawzaw and it cost less. and other then crap flying at my eyes it a good choice.

Was thining about doing that to my 82 a while back... But was going to take the material out of the center(or each side of teh tranny tunnel) and put the two halves back together....

Yep, front is 25" wide, rear is 39" wide, the center (shoulder bar) at the widest is 56" and that narrows down to 54" at the rockers.

No that is different. YOU narrowed it, put in inside a dumpster, and welded on some monkey bars
