Pics of my Dana 60 14BFF Install

Here is a picture of my partner and crime and a couple shots from the tow down to Florida. It is a BIG 37' boat. With 300 gals or 110 Octane and full support tools for a race (we ran the poker run)...boat and trailer weighed in at 17,000lbs on the scales.

It gets serious fast when you clamp down with the right hand. It will accelerate like a Corvette. It will substantially outrun the GPS speedometer up to 100mph. You will get out of it and the speedo will still be on its way up. I got a video somewhere of a 118mph pass in it.

Here is the new cooling system to cool the beast. It is the new Be Cool Module made specifically for the burb.....drop in to all factory brackets. It has built in Engine and Tranny oil coolers and dual 13" electric fans. It came will all brackets, billet radiator cap, fans, billet puke tank, 195 degree thermal switch, and prewired harness with twin waterproof relays. I got the 1000hp set up. When I called thier tech line...I told them I would be right at 700hp but I wanted to be able and idle around with the air conditioning on in low range on the trail. They said this would do it and then some. It may do actually have the capacity to pull it off. I am pretty impressed. It is definately the most "serious" radiator I have ever owned. I was concerned about laying out this much cash for a cooling system...but now that I have it...im glad I did. Ill post some more pics with the fans installed later in the build when I get ready to put it in.

Thanks dude. We used to go do the run on lake Texoma but havent been down there in a long time. Due to economy right now....we will be staying closer to home this summer. Might make one trip to Florida.

Where at in Florida

Ok....back to the engine build...we got WAYYYY off track!:D I just finished porting and polishing my rear main cap for better oil flow. Where the two holes met was about 20% blocked due to poor casting/machining. Its 100% now! I also deburred and smoothed up the ramp and cleaned all the sharp edges off the cap so nothing can fatigue and break off to go through my motor. You would not believe what a difference that this combined with going through the oil pump and shimming the relief does for pressure and flow.
