Pics of my Dana 60 14BFF Install

Here are a few pics of the underdash gauge pod. I had to open up the holes on the sides of the brackets to allow room to tilt the gauges with the offset bezels toward the driver.

Oh for sure! But thats the image that comes to mind usually when that type setup is mentioned. Yours look much more professional.

Getting my "Wire" on. Of course, the 88-91 models that have the dual din opening for the radio are wider in the radio area so the new gauge panel doesn't cover it. More fab work. I don't think that anything just bolts together on this project. Of course the wiring diagram is different on this truck too......so I am just making my own cluster harness and sender wires to go through the firewall.

Reach down under the radio and move your hand to the right. You'll find 2 screws about an inch apart in the lower lip of the dash sheet metal, those should be holding the DRAC. It's white and about (smaller) the size of a pack of smokes.

correct under radio slide in clip holder bolted to back side of dash.

here ya go few drac's with top cover open and 2 holders.

these i modifyed to make them adjustable and correct speedo's. see the red dip switch added to the front of the board.

I had to relocate my headlight switch. I also took a pic of what I have to modify the ok the dash to go back to a single din. Last pic is a shot of my tech advisor Wyllis.

If you have an 87 or down......its a good option. But I would do something different if I hadnt already bought it and in the middle of it. My factory cluster was woodgrain and I wanted to get rid of that. I didn't think about the double din when I ordered it. The thing is....after u buy it, u still have to cannabalize your old cluster. They don't tell u that part.

I can understand the DIN opening, but the light switch bring out alignment? I was thinking of buying one of the dash panels too. I can spend my 250 bucks on something else.
