One thing I really love about our trucks is the tail lights. I'd say that the four headlight front end and the tail lights are two things that REALLY stand out in my mind as cool things about our trucks.
That said, I've destroyed a bunch of tail lights recently. I know it's not an uncommon thing either as it seems that everyone sooner or later peels them off their truck. My driver's side won't even hold a tail light correctly anymore. They stick out a little bit, which is going to only make it easier to peel them off.
That said, I've got two choices, I can make some kind of tail light protector, which I think looks really poserish with all the SUVs rolling around with them, or I have to relocate my tail lights.
