Just curious... I want to know where you wheel, what you do, etc. Doesn't matter if you only wheel once in a while, or if its just in your Grandpa's pasteur. Give your location and where you wheel.

I live in St. Louis and I wheel in Potosi, Fort Wood and have been to Disney, OK twice. Want to do Moab, Tellico and Attica soon...

Some of my trail reports:

Potosi http://www.mudzer.rockcrawler.com/Summer_run1.htm - works best with IE 5.0 (I'll get it sorted out for all browsers someday)

I live in Kingman, AZ

I usually get out a few times a month, either for cruising old mining/fire roads or high speed blasts across the dez - nothing really hardcore though.

Just mild wheeling on my property in northern CA (the real N CA, not the SF area!

Living in Vermont, basically we go anywhere the truck will fit. There are not many "trails" that are open for public use. regardless, the K5 doesnt see the woods, use hub's Z-71 for that!

I participate in a rally that happens about 3 times a year. It's pretty hardcore. It drives my stock Blazer to its limits. I can't wait to install a locker in the rear for the next rally, Sept. 16. The rest of the year it's just gravel roads & pavement. But as many know, I live in Guatemala, where most of the roads could be considered "trails" compared to US roads. Hence my "Involuntary offroader" title.

In the past several months my biggest wheeling adventure has been wheeling my k5 up onto blocks in my carport so I could work on it. Funny thing is that it is still up there :)

I live in Pendleton OR, buddies and I wheel anywhere form once every other month to everyweekend, Usually keep pretty close to home (within 60 mi or so) on old cattle drive roads that haven't been maintained by the state for long time, nat. forest, or private lands (with WRITTEN PERMISSION of course) around the north west part of OR and South west Washington. Anybody from these areas PM me or E-mail me at: [email protected]
We want to go to new local areas!!!

Remember to ALWAYS keep the trails you came in on cleaner than what they where before so that you can use them tomorrow!

Thanks,
Greg Gayman

I've been running everything from dirtbikes, stripped down honda accords (running my Honda CRX across the sand dunes was quite a sight to see with the tires airless flapping like paddles!), bent up toyota 2 & 4x4's to full size Chevy 2 and 4x4's here in the Southern California desert of Borrego Springs (and sometimes Baja). There's quite a bit off off road area including parks set aside for such but most of it is fast paced high speed desert sand with the occational rock climb here and there. I've got to get back up to the Sierra's where the going gets a bit more tough.

What, Me Worry?

I used to go about twice a month...but now that my body is fallin off(doors and gate almost don't close anymore) it's been a while!

Been to Colorado to iron chest, wheeler, Mt blanca, and some others. I mainly stay in KC...Tiffany springs, sand bar out at the river, and a buddys who owns about 100 acres of concrete caves.

I would like to go to Moab, tellico, Disney, OK and some others as soon as possible.

It's mainly mud and rock out here, but you should know that!
I'm tring to plan a two week trip from KC to the coast of California...hit everything on the way and stay out there for a week of spring break.

MY DRINKING TEAM HAS A FOUR WHEELING PROBLEM!

Started years ago hardcore wheeling every weekend north of Phoenix at Sycamore Creek and Deer Valley Cycle Park (rip), then ended up in God's country, aka Oregon. Wheel at Oysterville on the dunes, Sand Lake (tho only once so far), hunting trails (ELK HUNT STARTS TOMORROW.........YEEHAH!), and as mudhog said, have access to Tillamook State Forest, but due to having two beautiful little ladies (12 and 8) and a house/two cars/dog/wife and a yard to take care of don't get out nearly enough.

Truck is ready for anything tho...........Detroits both ends of one ton axles driven by a sweet TPI motor (if I say so myself
tongue.gif
)...........I figure build it as bulletproof as you can and all that carnage I keep reading about from you REAL hardcore guys won't happen to me (I hope).

Live in Calgary, Alberta Canada.
Wheel in the rockies. ( Waiparous and Maclean)
We're out every long weekend ( more if we can)
Do a few bog races a year and some show n shines.

I'd say I'm hardcore as we try to get the most of of the wheeling season. We have been breathing 4x4 for the past three years since four wheeling bug bit us :)

Also am into preserving the trails so that my kids can use them later on.

I live in Alabama and I'll try most any trail that I have not been down before.

Never put a stupid move passed a stupid person.

I live in Michigan, and Tower Hill is our favorite trail in the game refuge in the northern part of Gladwin County. Not too difficult to get to but it is the best picnic spot on the planet

I live in San Diego, went 4xing at Lake Morena. A friend and I found a trail that took 4 hours to go DOWN that was only 1.5 miles long. Its a wincher if you want to go UP. This is when I had the Toy.

i live in so-cal.. i dont abuse my truck but ive been in a few hardcore wheeling trips with other peoples 73-87's.. its really amazing the abuse these trucks will take especially 3/4 ton.... like to offroad in ocotillo wells and glamis .. those two areas for major weekend trips.. other wise its just "small time" stuff for sh!ts & giggles :)
