POLL - Who are the Hardcore wheelers on this site?

On each of my front tires, there is this dial thingy that says "lock" and "free"???? Does that have anything to do with 4wheel drive?? All I have to do is lock it right??

I'm in Oklahoma City, and am still a relative novice. All my experience has been at Draper Lake just Southeast of the city. There is every type of terrain there. Mud, rock, sand, clay, you name it. I really encourage anyone that hasn't been there to go. This area has trails for the novice and the expert alike. I have personally spent seven days (one day per weekend) out there, and have maybe seen 40% of the trails. I have got to put some more time in out there now that I have my truck back up.

God has a hard on for Marines, because we keep Heaven chock full of fresh souls!
 
I got them Dial things in the center of all 5 wheels, they are all in the locked place. The one on the spair doesnt seam to do anything!. The new truck came with out the dial things which is good. It has a mesage center thing that says "now locked in 4 wheel drive" some times. I sure glad it can tell. I cant!
 
i live in san diego, chula vista way actually, i go to an area near the border, it's called Moody Canyon, also kitchen creek, lake Morena, moab, gorden's well, ocatillo, los coyotes an' lake Powell. i've broke axles as well as two LS. i have cut out the doors with a sawsall to see better, i haven't had the top on three years. we can do that out here. i have no adverstions to dents or scratchs. i only run a 44/12B with a mild 350.

Yep there all kinds of them light telling me I'm safe, one for the brake thing, one for the air bags, one for the 4 wheel drive, hey it will even call in to tell big brother it needs help if all the lights fail and I hit something.
 
I drive with one of the center dial thingy's (mine say 'warm' on them...is there a hot setting?) turned to lock, and one turned to free, because I'm not good at making decisions.

I'm in Mass, and there ain't a lot of open land to truck on in my area (although I'll follow the utility line trails for miles, gives my Jimmy a good workout). My sister has some land in Maine, so I brought my Blazer up there to wheel in the woods Labor day weekend, and it is still there. So, I guess I am a novice.

i like mud and sand, and big wide trails, sometimes i even put it in four wheel, but that's not as much fun. i like to get stuck, i get my sh!ts and giggles out of getting stuck. i'll put a vw rabbit in a pond just for the fun of revovering it. i like hitting truck engulfing puddles at overly incredible speeds just to see if i can keep the engine running with all that h2o in the hei.

I like to stick to the highways, I'm too scared to go off-road, I might get hurt !!

Wouldn't wanna scratch the Burb up !!

My 38's are too small do that !!!

Ok so the truth comes out !! (My front shaft is toasted and I am waiting to lower the Burb to a 6" lift before I get a new shaft)

Me, I'd never tear up the environment by taking the WhiteWhomper off road. It's for show only. And those seven quarts of ATF on Golden Spike, you can't prove that they are from me.
