Yeah I haven't done the body mounts yet (I bought them). I'll touch up anything needed once that day comes. My goal right now is just to get fuel cell and pumps, windshield squirter, batteries and trans cooler mounted again.Just a heads up - if you haven’t changed the body mounts in the rear yet you may need to do a bit of touch up work. IIRC the 4 rearmost carriage bolts are tack welded to the floor and need to have to tacks ground off. Someone who’s done it more recently can confirm.

Thanks. I didn't set out to get a shiny tank, it was in a box at the hotrod shop. It's shiny days are numberedNice tank! … and pumps too.![]()
Not gonna lie, those bolts aren't on my radar. You may as well call them stealth bolts lolYeah, the cargo floor bolts were tack welded in my ‘91.
:drool:Amazon still has it. Just ordered another white and 1 black for chassis stuff. UV and base coat adherance aren't a concern, I really don't care about looks, just want to raise hellIt’s been a while since I studied up on POR-15… but it used to be UV sensitive and not a good base for a color coat to adhere. To rectify those issues, you used their TopCoat product. I don’t recall if the TopCoat product also performs the same role as the POR-15 base coat product.
Just went and took a look at their site and they don’t show the TopCoat product anymore?

I'm headed to the shop later to start bolting shit back in. It's getting there.I just want to hear it run!
I have black on my axles and love it. Just ordered another qt of white and black last night.I've never seen that white version before but I'm pretty happy with black por15. I have it on my wheel wells and parts of frame. In the sections I sanded and prepped, it came out smooth as glass. Other sections where I rushed, came out pretty rough.
YesYou only used the top coat and not the regular POR-15 underneath?
