Thanks. I'm hip the the brake pedal pin thanks to an earlier post from you. Keep the tips coming! I could use some pics of the support rods for the clutch pedal install.

if you have a 80's firewall clean the inside of dust the 3 dimples should be there . center is the big hole and 2 at 45* / are for the brace rods . undercoat on engine bay side makes it real hard to see them and there dimpled for the drill bit from the cabin side anyways .

Yeah, it's my 86 suburban. It's been sitting too damn long. Got a new engine (l31) I bought in 05, and will be rebuilding the t/c while I'm installing the 32 spline input. Going to use a carb until I get back on my feet dollar wise. I have an old edelbrock performer TBI to multi point conversion setup I had for years. Drop on some 30 lb injectors and a 411 pcm and turn it loose.

32 spline input, you have a 1 ton sm465? Iirc only 1 tons have 32 output shaft.

That I did not know...I'm still looking, so I can be flexible now. Those tranny's are like gold around here if you can even find one.

I thought all of them past a certain date went to 32 spline  not sure on that. But it's the way I remember it

I see they made a 10 spline 4x4 465. I got my t-case adapter today. Just need a tranny...the cast iron type! Lol

what adapter style to t-case ?

round 6 or fig 8 ?

10 spline = fig 8 factory
32 spline = round 6 factory

465 with 32 spline has a long shaft output for a direct male/female connection .
465 with 10 spline has a short shaft output for a coupling female /female shaft to hook the 2 short male shafts together .

Round 6 bolt for 32 spline long shaft. Like this one. Using my 208 tc.

I have a couple of these with adapter.
I will sell cheap just figure the shipping

To use this adapter you need the short input and you need to work the adapter to clear shift linkage.
And this adapter doesn't have the bung for the shifter.
If you are putting the stock long input in the 205, $200 + shipping gets you trans, adapter and shifter

I don't have a 205. The 208 uses no coupler. The long tranny output goes through the adapter into the 208 input.
