Upper 3 piece cross member shock mount.

Lower weld on mount

Rear_lower_shkmnt.JPG

The lower shock mounts will be an option to the kit or available separately. Shock bolts are grade 8-5/8" diam. Length of the bolt was selected specifically for shank length. The lower mount just snugs up on the shock rubber and then bottoms out on the shank of the bolt.

The upper mount uses the rear rivet hole of the bump stop bracket for location. The 4 side holes per rail must be drilled in the frame to bolt up. 6 different shock mount positions. All grade 8 hardware will be included in the kit as well as 5/8" bolts for the shocks themselves.

Tomorrow this kit will be installed and I will post up some pics of that so you can see how it all goes together. Paint is drying now!

Edit: one thing to add. This is the prototype. A couple of small things will be changed for the production model. The kit will look and function the same as what you see in the photos.

Pricing as follows.

12 - grade 8.2 - 3/8 x 1" flanged serrated bolts
2 - grade 8.2 - 3/8 x 1.25" flanged serrated bolts

2 - grade 8 - 5/8" x 5 1/2" shock bolts.
2 - grade 8 - 5/8" nylock nuts

any chance on making some sort of bolt on setup for the shock mounts on the axle to help us guys that cant weld to save our lives

Wow kert, looks real good. I was wondering when you would get your "prototype" finished. Theres a good chance I will be getting that shock mount to match the b-52 you sent me.

I will buy one, really I will! One less thing I have to figure out on my own, love the adjustability of it, I would have thought about that way after the fact. By the way I just got my Rock Razor for the 14bff, great work, powder coating it tonight!

Man your boys truck is gonna be more capable them a lot of trucks on here:D

Looks great Kert, keep up the awesome work man.

It's in the works but it may be a while.

This may have already been adressed, but what about the fuel lines in side the frame rail? Relocate those too?

A little tweak here and there and they'll slide over the top or underneath the mounting bracket.

He informed me yesterday he doesn't want a truck.:(

Thanks for the compliments guys. Much appreciated. Stomper deserves some credit for this one as well. Always good to have another mind wrapped around things.(All the good ideas were mine though:haha: )
