what size rope do you use to tie to the stakes?

I'd use nylon, or even better, some 1/8" SS cable. Both will beat the weather, but the cable will last longer and hold up to chafing on the concrete and steel frame work. Maybe some light winch cable. I think my 4-wheeler uses 1/8". I don't remember price per foot, but I don't remember it hurting that much. Even the local hardware has it. I also believe my 25' dog run is the ssame stuff. Clamps for it are cheap too.
I just bought some 1/4" steel cable with the rubber coating for 85 cents a foot at the local hardware store...
Only problem with that is you'd have to cut it all to length, make ends, bolt them on, etc... I vote some nylon rope and just assume you'll have to replace it every few seasons...

This thing is more than likely only going to be up for just the one season (at least until this project is done), so I'm not expecting anything to last that long, but it doesn't hurt to know it will.
The cable, just seems like it will be a pain.
I have an idea, I'll make a quick sketch, and let you all tell me how good/bad it is

Ok, here's what I'm thinking. The red perpendicular bars are the framing. Obviously the gray at the bottom is the driveway. Bolts into lag sheilds, sticking 1/2" out of ground, washer under head. Black lines are a ratchet strap, or rope ratchet strap. This would obviously only work for the middle legs. Whatcha think?
ummm, 2 things... what's the drainage direction in the drive? I'd hate to see puddles in there, turning the ply to mushy cardboard...

runs down.....so using the truck as reference, from front to back....
as for the heater, yeah, I think I should pick up one of those little 2'x4'x1/2" pieces to let the heater sit on. That should do the truck, right?
Keep in mind this is only going to be set up for a month or two, just long enough to get the truck finished.

Basically the same as using the cables or nylon rope, just using rope type ratchet straps makes it 10x easier.

That's doable
Buddy will be here in four hours with a hammer drill, too bad I'll be sleeping when he gets here.
His day off, so he's coming down to give me a hand, lives an hour away, so hitches a ride with his dad when he goes to work, which is 4AM 
Before I go ahead and do this in the morning, any last thoughts?
anything else I should do the floor to be sure I won't moisture problems?

That's funny, this feburary is when I started the build. I think I'll set a deadline, the day I started last year will be the day I finish this year.I've been saying that I'll have my truck finished in a month or two for over a year now.
I was just talking to my wife about how I was building the 14B over Christmas last year. This year's Christmas project - the D60.

I forgot to update this. I don't know if it was just a crappy hammer drill (milwaukee), but even with a brand new masony bit, I just couldn't get very far at all. Ended up with 1 hole drilled, about 3/4" deep after 15 minutes of drilling
So, looks like its staying ratchet strapped to the truck.
Oh, and even know having to keep the thing cleared off of snow was obvious, I found out today why many have failed. 1" of snow/sleet on the the thing was a killer. The way the cover is , it makes pockets in between the rails, resulting in even more stress put on the frame.

After a couple of hours on the hammer drill, it feels like your wrists are still shaking. Best thing to do now is grab mr. happy and make friends.

Motivation in the form of, heat? Hell yeah it's motivating, especially in the middle of winter
This, and digging out some parts, and having my seat on its way should be enough to get me back out there!

yeah, for the last couple of weeks, it's been in the single digits and windy. Tod ay was the first time over the low 20's in quite a while. Heat is good!

Due to the 6" of snow we got overnight, and the 6-7" we got yesterday, I've been stuck doing snow removal all morning. I'm glad I didn't anchor the car port, as I ended up having to unstrap it, and moving it over a couple feet to clear the snow from in between the fence and the carport. There was probably about 5' of snow in their, and it was pushing against the wall of the carport
I made that a priority, so I got that done first. I'd say we've gotten at least 20" of snow so far this winter, and all the snow of that one side of the roof on the carport falls down there when I push it off the roof, so it was bound to happen. I wasn't expecting to get pounded so bad this early in the season
So, I'll head out in a little while to get some patio blocks to put under the heater, as well as get the propane tank filled

Finished the radiator mounts today. Did a little tweaking, added some rubber stripping, and it's good to go! No pics though, can't seem to find the memory card for the camera. DOH!
Did you look in your computers card reader?
