Project "Blazer". Won 3rd place, this thread is done!

you should run the ground hawgs backwards. whats the projected date for its first break in run?
On sunday there is a modbog at the fair grounds, it will be there. I know it will not be the fastest, or the best set up for mud, but I'll have fun.:D Then RC. We also have 1000 acers up here of private property to play on. We just give the owner $20 each time to help with his taxes. Steering will be here and on by friday. I should have my "bumpers" made by then to. Well started till I get a tube bender in my hands.

Got the steering on, temp. twin-stick in, and the front brakes bled today. Tried to start it, but ran out of gas. Should be moving tomorrow.

Lastnight I got the rear bumper on (I'll get pics today), and started on the front. Also put new fuel filters in. We tried to start it, but she didn't want to go. Otherwise I would have driven it to my friends garage.

Looks awesome, Just found this thread and am subscribed. Wow, what motivation!

Well I got the front bumper on, lights working again, fuel line replaced, fixed a busted brake line, and fixed the clutch linkage. Then DROVE THE F@CKIN THING! I love it. Can't wait to beat the piss out of her. But I'm bummed, it's all ready to go, but the radiator was too bad to fix. So thats stopping me from going unless I can find one for morn. Well here is some pics, enjoy.

Well it's done! Will need new u-joints in front , clutch linkage work, and odds & ends before it see's the trail. But it took 3rd place at the mudbog today, so I say done. Not bad for putting a rad. in during tech inspection, and the clutch linkage messing up soon as I pulled it off the trailer. But I'm a part of "Last minute motor sports" so thats how it aways is. It will be on the trail soon, see you there. Thread done!

Tires were good. There was a f250 behind me that had the same tires with the same thread depth. He got 2nd since I cleared the way. I should have turned them around, but my friend put all the lugs on by hand(4-way) when I went to get parts. So I didn't have the heart to swap them.

It flexes great! I will try for 14th-15th. I just need new u-joints in the front. But I can't say I'll make it even if it's ready for rocks. I got my first check at work, and it's about half of what I need. So I need to find a way to afford what I have to pay on before I can spend $$$$ on gas to get down there. After a year my pay will be good, just need to stick it out.

it is when you sell it..lol, by the way, nice looking k5, i dig the stance
LOL I never sell my old chevys, just take them to the scrap yard after everything good is cut off of them.:D And thanks, I like the stance and looks.

The mud was thick, not too watery at all. Just slick slim. I had to run the t-case in low and the 465 in low just to keep wheel speed.
