LOL, I already have 3 grinders to do the job... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Can anyone answer my questions up in my previous post?

To get that black piece of metal out, you need to unbolt the shifter from the t-case. BTW, that is what holds the shifter, and allows it to shift, so you cant get rid of it.

With all that rust, why not make a trugy or buggy. Skip the body work.

If I can that is... /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

Good luck dude, its not getting it apart that fun, its trying to put it all back together and get all the squeaks out (i still can't figure all that out). Maybe its the holes in the floor where the seat mounts go??

How do I go about getting that x-case thingy out?

[/ QUOTE ]
you need to diconect the linkage from the tcase. there is a cotter pin or hair pin ("s" shapped on side and straight on the other) just pull that pin and remove the linkage.

if all the bolts are out, would I just beable to pry it up?

[/ QUOTE ] that sealant is actually body glue, take a few screw drivers and pry it up alittle, and just work around with the others, once you get a few pieces broke free, it will lift up fairy easy.

nice pics, reminds me of when i took my k10 apart /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Okay thanks TJ, looks like tomorrow I can work on it again... yes it's a cotter pin, I tried to get that in the pic, but I don;t thuink it showed up...

OKay I have a few scrwedrivers I will use to pry it up...
When I put the tranny hump back on, should I pick up some more body glue to seal it back up?
