Project Eat Soot

They look pretty wide in pics but they are just 12.50 on 17x10 wheels.

Thanks guys for the nice responses. I'm starting to get pretty pumped on getting it on the road. I'm shooting for Sept but we will have to see.

Awesome work :waytogo: another Cummins K5 :pimp: and even cooler another full vert Cummins K5, theres only a few of us :D

Looks great so far, now I want to start on mine again :doah: :woot:

The better the truck looks as your progress continues..... The more offensive that "Dodge Ram" lettering becomes on the intake!! :)

Good work. Everything is looking clean and minty.

Here's the simple method:

When you look at a YouTube link there is a long string of characters near the end of the URL.... It usually starts with a "v="

Cut all the characters that are to the right of that (don't include the "v=") and then paste it into your post using the YouTube tags:

{YouTube}thestuffyoucopied{/YouTube}

Use the square brackets [] instead of the parenthesis I showed in my example.

The engine is looking good..... I hear some kind of a rattle though, check for loose spark plugs! :D

Thank you guys for the help on the video. Grabbed a few more hours on the "Turd" last night....wife is pretty pleased with me at this point. :rolleyes: Can't understand why they seem not to be too interested in this kind of stuff! Ha. Anyway I got the core support cleaned up and threw it on, need to get the cooling system measured up and completed maybe then I could run it more than a minute or two. I also went ahead and installed the clutch and transmission. Can't believe how well everything fits so far.
Here's a few pics nothing much though. Need more parts!

It's still hard to believe that you do any work in that garage. It's so damn clean always.

Whenever I even start to think about working on my rig, stuff just falls off the shelves and a small troll throws all of the tools that I own out on the work bench for me to sift through.. :doah:

Good job on the progress, Soot.

you are making some pretty big leaps in progress. nice going!
