Originally it was cast aluminum housing >red trAns> cast adapter and red Tcase? From factory. I think anyways. I’m summoning Bob Ross to help with happy accidents and I am in need of some Phthalo Blue and titanium white paints.
I painted the trans but then I painted the bellhousing too. Because everyone needs a friend.

Yep, it’s cracked all the way through. Weld didn’t hardly penetrate. Really glad I opted for a new Novak adapter.

I’m not sure if I am doing this correctly but I figured the overview tab was meant to be the build basically uninterrupted and the discussion was a tab meant for asking questions and receiving comments. I really don’t care if people post on my build discussion as I feel that’s what it’s meant for. They can’t post in the overview and that’s where the build will be in its entirety sans minor details which will be found in here with some digging. That’s how I am using it anyways.
Ps. Energy Suspension mounts will be on my front porch when I get home tonight. Cross member needs one more coat of clear and my adapter should be here today or tomorrow as well. Still need to clean up the TC
lucky for me it’s Super Bowl weekend and they won’t let us work because the big heads want the weekend off. This is good for me because I don’t watch football and that gives me 2 days to get things prepped for install.

That’s a first I have heard. Isn’t there an emoticon for “this thread is useless without pictures” . Getting in an hour or maybe two a night is a big accomplishment for me. Plus I tend to delete photos off my phone it’s nice to have them somewhere later.
these bushings don’t fit my cross member............the zinc coated bushing is a larger diameter than the stock ones. going to have to grind the cross member down some. Anyone else run into this? That would be super annoying if you tried to do this under the truck ha

Didn’t realize they compressed so easily. Bent the zinc plated bushing with some vice grips and they popped right in.
Nobody’s forcing anyone to read my thread. If the pictures are torturing you it’s really you torturing yourself lol
