Please share the link with all your wheeling friends so I can get her sold!

Well, due to our dog needing surgery, I need to sell Project Torque. I have owned the truck since it was basically stock in 2004.

The website Project Torque (check it out for videos) will be included for $250. If you don't want it, there is a video game company that does. If you see the file here you can see it gets tons of traffic for a 4x4 truck's site.

This is a 1973 (NO SMOG in CA) GMC Jimmy with a 514cid big block cadillac engine, 2 transfer cases, 37 inch tires, bead locks, 6 inch lift and more!

The truck is not pretty to the non 4x4er, but it works well. Here are all the specs, then I will list the negatives below.

Asking $5000 OBO (Lowered from 7k)

Here is my build video http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-846436932352988487

See the complete build pictures, and videos here.

The Bad:
The steering is somewhat loose, it just needs new steering stabilizers I think.
The paint on the hood is chipping
The dash works but is ugly
Needs a rear shock and small frame weld
Transmission to doubler mount leaks
Parking gear only works on flat ground (cheap fix)

I want $10k for it, but I know I will never get that back, so I asking for about 1/2 which I know I can get. I will only ship if buyer arranges everything, but you probably want to see the truck in person first.

Truck is located in Santa Ana, Ca (Zip 92707)

WOW!!!! I never thought you would sell her! I know you put a lot of work into it. Sweat and Tears. I remember that build from a while back.

Good Luck man I hope you get what you want.

I have seen this truck in person and it is not FUGLY at all.

Brandon I am sorry to see you selling your pride and joy. Hopefully you get what you need to get your dog fixed up right away.

Thanks! I just lowered the price, 7k was a hope, 5k is more reasonable... come on people, I will throw it on ebay this saturday if it doesn't sell.

i wish I was for your sake too. I will probably include all my tools and stuff in it on ebay

this is madness, $5k for this rig is ridiculous! somebody scoop this up NOW! wish i could afford to buy it and get it shipped here

I don't have all the money to make this work. Is anyone willing to share the cost of buying this truck and parting it out. I would want the engine, tranny, doubler.

LMK.

Dang Branndon I wish I had the money I'd be over tomorrow. I'll look over my finances tonight and see if I can swing it. Don't count on me for it though, like I said IF I can it'll be a big stretch.

WOW... I too never really thought I'd see the day you sold this. But I guess you do what you have to do...
This probably isn't any of my business but since you're only thinking you can get $5k or so for the blazer wouldn't it be easier to take out a small personal loan to get the surgery done on your dog and wait for the right buyer for this? Then you might have the loan paid off and get to keep the blazer or if the right buyer does come along then you can pay off the loan plus pocket some... Anyways, just a thought :)

Good luck with the sale man.

Thanks guys, we are trying to get a personal loan actually, but it doesn't look good as of now. I also have an outstanding IRS tax bill for like 3 grand, so I was hoping for the 7 to pay them both, but I'll find a way to get it all done.

I never wanted to sell the truck, but I need the money and know who ever buys it will love playing with it. I am putting it on ebay tonight...

Ebay auction ended with the reserve not met. Just out of curiosity, what ever happened with this?
