Pro's and Con's of the NP241 transfer case.

I have one of JB's kit in my 89 k1500 only because I have an older four wheel disc brake set up and this allows for a driveline e-brake. Suffered some driveline bind last year which displaced the pump in the 241 and shredded it. The shop cleaned it up and replaced one bearing due to too much melted plastic in it- have had a problem of oil puking up thru the vent tube- anybody have this- seems to be very uncommon but happens.
 
I read somewhere that the 241 has a larger diameter output shafts than the 205 does.
