Prototype bumper for cucvs and civilian trucks.

CUCV shackles are cool, but the cutouts for them should be closer to the actual size. Sort of like the giant slots - they are OK for prototype, but embarrassing for the real install on a production bumper.

Are you embarrassed for the bumper? It's a prototype, the holes were cut wrong and has been corrected.

Couple things:

For civilian - would it be available without d-ring holes?

For the holes for the 6” lights - can the size and shape of those holes be adjusted (for a fee i would assume). For example if wanted a 4” circle or 2”x2” square?

Will a ‘matching’ rear bumper be in the works?

Good looking bumper, great to see. will be watching as a potential customer when they are ready.

The civilian bumper will not have the holes for cucv shackles.

I'm sure the light holes can be modified.

A matching rear bumper will be in the works next spring.

Looks good. My 2 cents is the top of the bumper should be a bit taller to cover the lower grill valance like the factory bumper. Otherwise it's super cool.
The grill guard makes it hard to sit all the way up, but we are looking into a solution

I like it. I've been following the progress on Instagram.

It keeps close to the lines of a stock bumper, which I really like.

i like that it will accept the brush guard maybe they need to come up with a kit for people that don't have factory CUCV shackle mounts? either something to bolt or weld in to the back of the cut out that will accept a shackle, or some kind of plug?

The civvy versions won't have the shackle mount holes, or you can put lights there.

this actually sparked an idea for a bad ass rear bumper... I could order this kit, and assemble it with the center section inside out???
then all I need to do is design and fab a strong fold down step that fits into the center section, and attach my license plate to it in the folded up position???

The bumper is in production
