Quest to find softer springs

The authority on leaf spring rates are the guys at ORD. All the off the shelf leaf springs tend to be stiff. Some are better than others but the only guys with really nice riding leaf springs have gone to custom ORD springs. It will cost you more but you will get just what you want.
I have both Tough Country and Skyjacker softrides in my trucks and they both ride stiff.

I have ORD front springs. Very nice. 4" lift, smooth as silk. When I get around to it,gonna put whatever they recommend on rear.

I looked at the pro comp springs and there about the same spring rate as the rancos.

Anyone else have anu recommendations?

I might try and lower the tire pressure as well
Well as @HankScorpio and @ridenby have said, ORD custom springs are very good for ride. I have a couple of trucks running them and it makes a big difference to that I don't dread the ride of the truck. I had Tuff-Country on my '70 and it wasn't pleasant. My attitude improved a bunch after getting the ORD front springs. Now I want to get some rear springs.

I also have a set under the front of my '90 Jimmy. The ride and flex great, however they allow for some body roll and size to side axle movement on some bumps. I knew this going in, and I live with it because I can't afford their link kit for it.
But you need to know that softer riding leaf springs do have some quirks. I have found out that for the most part, I just keep driving and generally ignore the "funny " parts of the handling.

There is a dip in the road by my house that is several inches deep, slightly shorter than the length of a K5, but approximately at a 22* angle to the road. It rocks the truck back and forth on top of the springs a good amount, but if I just keep the steering wheel straight, it goes right through. It is just what it does.

For the ord springs dont they have custom spring rates
