how much angle should my adjustment rod have? seems like mine to to sharp of an angle..
after i push the pedal in 4 or 5 time the rod falls off of the fork.. is my fork spring not stretched enough or do i just not have enough tension on the adjustment rod?
Have you tried to drive it? Sounds like you need to move the adjuster out to tighten it up. Once you have it driving you'll want to adjust it to how you want the clutch to feel.
Isn't there a punchout there? Otherwise just grab a floor pan out of a four speed model. I may have one. It's too bad I didn't know youy needed one, I am in Lincoln right now, and could have grabbed one.
You are correct. I just got one yesterday, granted mine was 61in and 4in tubing, but costed 360$ smaller tube will be cheaper. Another thing, make sure you get the right u-joints. The yolk in my 205 was a 1330 and my axle end was a 1350. I didn't catch that and ended up having to file the 1330 yolk to fit the 1350 u-joint I had. Somethin to keep in mind. Tricked by a free part I was.
Well, easy way to tell is stick that shaft in each yolk and if it fits, just have them extend the tube and put new same size u-joints in there. If its 10 bolts its 1310s, if its a 14bolt its a 1350, and if its a 12 bolt I believe they are 1330s.
I meant does the slip yoke feel tight when it's together, or does it have a lot of slop? If it's in good condition, it's relatively cheap to just have the shaft retubed.
