One time I parked my S-10 blazer in a public parking for the night & some douche bag hit it so hard it was half way into the next space. There were broken pieces of headlight plastic left at the point of impact that had F- random numbers on it. I collected the pieces & so did the investigating officer. I figured the 'F' meant it was a Ford. The next week there was a F-150 parked there with a broken headlight & some dents parked in the same spot! I took my pieces & matched them to his broken POS then called it in. The guy was out Surfing. The cops came with their pieces & confirmed a match. They did nothing after that. I had to pay a $500 deductible!
A few days later the dood was sleeping in his truck at the same place. I went out there with a baseball bat & knocked on his window. It's a good thing he didn't wake up before I started thinking about the consequences of what I was about to do. I let him live, I figured he wasn't worth it.

I think I may have told this one.

Several years back, I parked my old Ford truck in the mall parking lot.
The bumper on it was not as wide as the 8 inch channel iron on mine now, but it was just as strong.
It hit a deer at 70 with no damage.....

Anyway, I was about halfway to the mall entrance, when I heard tires squealing.
Turned around to see one of those big caddys burning rubber backwards right into the front of my truck.

It actually knocked my truck back about 3 feet.

I started that way, she threw it into gear and tried to take off.
Almost dragged my truck back to where it was before she got loose and blew out of the lot.

I checked the situation out, walked back to the store and called the cops. (Before Cell Phones)

Cop shows up, I flag him down, and he pulls up across behind my truck.

I tell him the story, he asked if I saw the plate number as she went by. I said, not as she went by I didn't.

He says he will put out a notice for the cops to watch for a damaged caddy, but odds are they won't find it.
He says he will go ahead and make out a report for my insurance company.
I tell him that I don't need a report, since I don't have any damage to claim.

He looks a little PO-ed, and asks just why did I bother to call him?

I walk to the front of the truck, and pick up her entire rear bumper complete with license plate and tell him he might want to return it to her.....

We loaded it into the trunk of his car, and he was still grinning when he drove off.
I think I made his day.

Cant have anything nice anymore, if its not someone who jealous ****ing your stuff up, its some ignorant scumbag who is generally unqualified for life in general ****ing it up because they are too stupid to only mess up their stuff.

I had some dumbass 16 year old girl run into my ford at a mall parking lot one time. It snowed the night before and was pretty slick still, she comes flying around the corner, trying to come down the aisle the wrong way. I dont see her until its already too late because of the other cars. We hit almost exactly head on, it pushed my bumper over 3 inches and bent the front framerails ahead of the front suspension slightly, it tore the entire front bumper off her POS cougar. It was a ****ty situation, her insurance only gave me $375 for it. Next time they try to screw me Ill remind them of my lawyer.

Best part was when the cops got there, Where my truck stopped was exactly behind where the directional arrow for that aisle was. I ask the cop to make sure they get a picture of the arrow in relationship to my truck, then I look at the girl and she just burst into tears. Thinking of that still makes me smile :D

That's a shame :( I want to up-armor the truck just for these types of occurrences, cause them as much damage as I can for hitting me. I'm just still searching for a metal strong and light enough to take the damage.

That's right.
Didn't RuffStuff send you an email confirming my order a few years back? Vinny from new jersey....go figure.

I'm down, but not out!
Keep your eyes open for my upcoming build thread.
Thanks again guys.
