The RamJet 350 Curve is actually pretty decent. 340 at 1500, not too shabby for a SB.
jekbrown said:there is nothing bad about its #s, it has way more grunt than my mild 350 does... I'm just sayin' that if I have 300 ft pounds on tap, I'd like it before 4000 rpm. I tend to crawl and rarely just "hammer down" to get over stuff. I'm not sure how often I'd get to use all that tq unless I started doing mud for some reason. lol!

Withe the Ram Jet manifold the torque band would likely be even flatter. That would be a nice setup if you can drop the coin
You know you can buy the complete Ram Jet FI manifold kit (GM part # 12498032). It includes everything except the ECM and wiring harness. It is designed to be used with an aftermarket ECM - the Haltech E6X would be a good choice since it is PC programmable, will run injectors AND ignition, and includes everything you need. Slap that on top of part # 12498772 (ZZ383 crate long block) and you would make some real suds. 425HP at 5400 and 449lb-ft at 4500, but the motor makes 400+ ft-lbs from 2000RPM on up.Withe the Ram Jet manifold the torque band would likely be even flatter.
