Hah yeah bunch of cocksuckers on there. Yeah I got kicked out. For reporting a shit post. It was a group moderator shitposting and he got all hurt about it.There is a group on facebook you can get help from. they are real good with the system. they are a bit touchy though

Are you running a return spring?
And yes they got pissy the last year or so
Took the springs off bc they were way too stiff, it seems to be hanging up internallyAre you running g a return spring?

I have a lokar cable but untill I figure out how to get this first Gen bell crank throttle assembly off the firewall from behind the head I can't do anything with it. Anyways even with the throttle bar disconnected it still hangs up so I'll have to get out there and find out if it's hitting the dual plane intake throatand i went to lokar throttle cable, the stock one would cut into itself leaving me stranded
Not very helpful I know, but I had the same problem for like four or five months. Mine would never idle down and everyone was saying adjust your IAC non stop (The same Facebook group you guys are talking about). Then they were saying i have to have a vacuum leak there’s no other thing it could be and were telling me to pull off my intake and change the gasket, but I knew I didn’t have a leak. one day I got so pissed off I went and bought a holley, when I put it on there and it ran and idled perfectly and I’ve been running it ever since.
I hope you have better luck than me but it seems like sometimes these things just don’t want to work .
OK so I'm tuning the governor in my th350 so just out on my normal pavement only duty bc the passenger door keeps flying open when the body flexes and the ol lady almost falls out.
Anyways, if you fallow my build you'll know already that I can't get this fckn throttle body to idle correctly or return all the way. It's really pissing me off. To the point that this stroker is plowing through the brakes unless I pull the pedal lever back up with my toe. (can't leave the pedal on for that reason)
Now I know I'm a novice when it comes to this new fangled electronic fuel bs but I'm pretty sure I've fallowed the iac steps that only got me down to 800rpm I'm shooting for 700. I also can't turn the idle screw in for that reason so the butterflies stick in the throat after I pull it back up! Also causing drivability issues.
It is not the throttle linkage! It does this when it's not connected as well..
Im seriously annoyed.
Fitech only responds with how to fallow the iac steps. This does not work.
I'm seriously considering taking all this bullshit back off and putting a carb back in that I know I can tune and make idle.
Where is the benefit to this system?
I'm at the point I think I have a defect but I need to call them when I get free. It starts and runs fine the throttle sticksI have a FITech on a Roush 427 stroker motor, I didn’t do the install myself, and I love it. Starts easier, doesn’t flood the bowl, has better throttle response and best of all, about 26 more HP! I would never go back to a carburetor again. I wish I had some trouble shooting ideas for you but it looks like you’ve had some good feedback. Best of luck
