receiver hitch: will \'87 fit a 1990 frame?

I know the body style changed but did the frame change also? I want to put the receiver hitch off my '87 K5 on a 1990 1/2T Chev pickup.

no the frame is wider i tryed to swap a bumper and it would no have worked woth out new brackets
