John,
The attachment point on the A/C compressors is the same, but the hoses on the 350 routed over top of the engine. This worked fine with the short compressor on the 350, but with the long compressor on the 454 I am going to have to swap out to a set of the hoses that run over the radiator. The 350 hoses will probably reach, but will interfere with the air cleaner.
The throttle body is one of the bored out 454 bodies from CFM Tech. I believe it is between 720-750 CFM now. I am running the eagle forged stroker crank and h-beam rods. 9.8:1 forged SRP Pistons, Edelbrock aluminum performer heads and aluminum performer TBI intake along with aluminum high flow water pump.
I built the engine stronger than what it is ever going to see since I put the Comp Cams computer freindly cam in it along with the TBI and stock exhaust manifolds. I will be happy if I am running in the 350-375 horsepower range. I don't really know what to expect out of it though.
The rest of the truck still has the Crestucky paint job (4 different colors). My wife has pretty much convinced me that I need to get it painted though, so I think that will be next after I get this engine going. I did wind up putting a new 70HD in the back with a detroit in it, so I am now running detroits front and back in my street driven only dually. That is probably a little overkill also.
