Just got back from ace with some big washers and PVC and pipe...I'll rig something

Seal in place and installer rod in place

Harmonizer is back on to the point where the engine started turning. I quit for the night because of mosquitoes. I got to find a way to stop the the engine turning so I can finish tightening it up. There are a bunch of hole in the harmonizer but nowhere on the engine to stick a screwdriver

So supposedly the installer is supposed to not let the engine turn if you put a wrench on the end of the installer rod. I find this hard to believe because you have to turn it clockwise to tighten it...I believe it will just come loose and let the engine turn

The front of the tool will stay tight as the wrench holds the tool and the big nut is free to rotate on the bearing, that is pushing on the damper.

Take your trans inspection cover of stick a big screw driver in the flex plate near the starter side, use the block for leverage. If you have a helper is easy, can wedge it up there to stay on it's own.

That's the style puller/installer I have. It works like frankink5 mentioned.

Friend uses an air impact to draw the balancer on with the installer--once you get the feel for it ,it works slick..engine wont turn, you just need to use care the balancer doesn't get "stuck" halfway on,or go ballistic once the nut & balancer bottoms out..

Should have about 1" front of damper to crank, looks good to me. The timing pointer looks right.

Put loctite blue the whole length of the bolt or just near the shoulder?
