Resurrection Joe and UPS!! GOOD AND BAD (respectively) PLEASE READ!!!!

Hey Guys, sorry to hear the problems you are having with UPS. Sucks. I have used UPS for years and haven't had a problem yet - but I realise they could screw up anything too. That's why I always insure my package. Did you guys Insure yours? If so, let us know what they do to resolve this issue.

With all the new parts I've bought recently using both fedEx and UPS, my only bad experience was with UPS. I bought some wheels from Summit. They said that 2 of them were shipped together, strapped 2 wheel boxes together. When I got the package it was only 1 wheel and that box was ripped wide open. I'm surprised it didn't fall out. The second box has never shown up. Summit is trying to find out where it went but there were nice enough to send me another wheel in the meantime. FedEx may cost a little more but I think I will be shipping with them from now on

God, why the hell did you bring this up!

Almost gave me a heart attack, thought Kyle had had enough and was about to nail me to the wall...

Fine, I'm going out now...

Well, I manage production and shipping for a company called DUPLIUM. We are a CD replicator. I use both FED EX and UPS on a dailey basis. On average about 85/95 packages with UPS and 50/55 with FED EX. We also use Airborne, SIA, Watkins, Roadway, Overnoght, Pegases, Air Plus, GST, Pilot and Challenger. As far as reliability and customer sevice, UPS is by far the best and most responsive. Fed EX is by far the worst. That is not to say that UPS hasn't made their fair share of mistakes, but I have found them the easiest to get answers from. That sucks to hear that they lost your stuff and you have had bad service. Maybe I can contact my rep and see if I can help.

MJ, I am pretty sure Forward Air is just a freight forwarder. Meaning the are just brokers. But a good one. My best freight company isn't one. GST Logistics is by far the best I have used so far.
