Utlilmaster P30
Moved the truck 10 feet yesterday to work on the new dash build.

Tried to start it today, just cranks. Feul pump won't run. Te trigger to the fuel pump relay is not activating when key is turned on. :dunno:

No, this is the right side over the AC unit. I have not started on the other side. Only one wire comes out of the ignition switch to feed the ECU.

I cranked on it after I posted. No start. I noticed the voltage was at 11.5v, key on, no crank. I did not look at the cranking volts. Put a charger on it, fired right up.

I am guessing it was right at the low end limit. I spent 2 hours chasing down a fuel pump issue that did not exist.

I was given a van a while back.
Dodge 360 magnum in it would turn over fine. But wouldn't even try to pop.
It was an old battery I had laying around. So just because it was getting slower I hooked up jumpers from my truck. Turned faster but wouldn't pop/start. Hooked another set up with an optima yellow top for MO-POWA.... Nothing.

Bought a new battery for it because I had wanted to anyway, and it fired right off first time.... :dunno:

I know the Holley instructions said something about it being volt sensitive when I did my burb.

Like making sure lights, radios, and fans were off when uploading a tune and such if I remember correctly.
I could see a few volts shutting it down

newer rides and ecm units will not function under around 10.5 volt cranking from what i have read on many posts and pages .

One of my ford escapes develops longer crank times when the battery is below 12v
I can always tell when it’s time for a new battery. It starts taking 5-10 seconds of cranking before it will develop fuel pressure and fire up. Kind of a catch 22
A fully charged battery and it fires right up within 2 seconds.
